In accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India; the State NSS Cell, Government of Tamil Nadu and the Bharathidasan University NSS Cell, the National service scheme of our college organized a series of awareness activities on 25.09.2026 under the theme “Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat.”
The programme was conducted under the guidance of the Principal, Dr. M. PITCHAIMANI, and NSS Mentor Dr. R. Krishnan.
The activities included:
1. Drug-Free India Pledge – Faculty members and students participated in the pledge.
2. “My Health, My Pride” Signature Campaign – A signature campaign was conducted to promote healthy and drug-free living.
3. Awareness Lecture – Dr. Kokila, as the Chief Guest, addressed the students on “Drug-Free Youth for a Developed Bharat” and provided valuable guidance on preventing substance abuse.
4. Awareness Street Play – Cultural Students our college presented a street play on “Drug-Free India” to create awareness among students.
Around 100 NSS volunteers actively participated in the programme.
The National service scheme of our college sincerely acknowledges the support and guidance of the Secretary, Principal, Vice-Principals, Deans, Heads of various Departments, and faculty members for the successful conduct of the programme.
