Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA)


We are pleased to inform you that Dr. E. Somasundaram, UBA Tamil Nadu Regional Coordinator, Directorate of Agri Business Development (DABD), Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore, visited Srimad Andavan Arts and Science College on 08.08.2026 (10.45 AM to 1.00 PM) to review and examine the activities carried out under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA).
He appreciated the dedicated efforts of our institution towards UBA activities and expressed his satisfaction with the systematic planning and implementation of the programmes. He particularly Highly Appreciated the SEG project proposals submitted for the academic year 2026–2027, with a total of 17 proposals submitted under UBA.
During his visit, Dr. E. Somasundaram visited the UBA Cell room and various college extension activity areas, Labs and reviewed the activities being undertaken for the benefit of the surrounding rural communities.
The Regional Coordinator appreciated the commitment and active involvement of the management, faculty members, and students in extending the benefits of the institution's academic and social initiatives to the community.
His valuable appreciation and encouraging remarks have greatly motivated us to further strengthen our UBA activities and undertake more impactful community-oriented programmes in the coming academic year.
We sincerely express our heartfelt gratitude to our Management, Secretary and Correspondent, Advisor, Principal, Senior Vice Principal, Vice Principals, Deans, and Heads of Departments for their constant encouragement, guidance, and unwavering support, which contributed significantly to the smooth and successful execution of this visit.
