The *Women Development Cell (WDC)* organized an *Inauguration & Hygiene Awareness Programme* on *"NURTURING SAFE SPACES, INSPIRING CLEANLINESS AND BUILDING CONFIDENCE"* on *17.08.2026*


The programme commenced with the *Welcome Address* delivered by *Dr. R. Malini* , Co-ordinator, Women Development Cell. The *Presidential Address* was delivered by *Dr. M. Pitchaimani* , Principal, who highlighted the significance of personal hygiene and its role in promoting overall well-being. The *Felicitation Address* was delivered by *Dr. G. Jothi* , Senior Vice-Principal, and *Dr. K. Subha* , Mentor of WDC & Dean of Commerce and Management. 
As part of the programme, the WDC has officially introduced its *Office Bearers* for the Academic Year 2026-2027 and honoured them with badges. The *Special Address* was delivered by *Mrs. P. Jayanthi* , *Managing Partner, Arnik Health and Hygiene Products, Tiruchirappalli* . She emphasized the importance of maintaining safe and hygienic spaces for promoting the physical and mental well-being of students. Her insightful session highlighted the role of personal hygiene in developing self-confidence, discipline, and a sense of responsibility. The programme created awareness among *350 girl students* across the disciplines and encouraged them to adopt healthy hygiene practices and contribute to creating a safe, positive, and supportive environment.

We express our sincere gratitude to the *Secretary and Correspondent, Advisor, Principal, Senior Vice-Principal, Vice-Principals, and Mentor of the Women Development Cell* for their constant encouragement and unwavering support in making this programme a success.

We the WDC express our gratitude to *Mr. K. Praveenkumar* , Assistant Manager – Trust Affairs, for his valuable support in arranging the system and digital backdrop for the programme.

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to the *IMF and Media* Team for their valuable technical support and contribution towards the successful conduct of the programme.
