*Special Intensive Training Programme on Communication and Interview Skills*



As instructed by our respected Secretary and Correspondent and our beloved Principal, the Department of English, in association with the Placement Cell organised a Special Intensive Training Programme on Communication and Interview Skills.
The training sessions are handled by *Rtn. Sripriya Narayanan, Corporate Trainer and Founder, HSR Training Academy, Chennai* , along with the faculty members of the Department of English. A total of 78 students have registered for the programme.

A planning meeting was conducted through Zoom on 12 August 2026 at 7.30 p.m. with the department faculty. The students were categorised into teams, with faculty members assigned as mentors. Students were instructed to submit their progress every Thursday, following which Rtn. Sripriya Narayanan would introduce the next module.

The programme is conducted every Thursday from 7.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. The first training session was held yesterday evening at 7.00 p.m. The first module focused on the importance of effective communication and provided practical training in formal and informal self-introduction. Students were also assigned to prepare and submit a two-minute self-introduction video as part of their training.
