Knowledge Enrichment Programme on the theme "Bridging the Gap Between Modern Work Culture and Upcoming Leaders"

The Department of Computer Science and the Students Association of Computer Technology (SACT) organized a Knowledge Enrichment Programme on the theme “Bridging the Gap Between Modern Work Culture and Upcoming Leaders” on 12 August 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Arts Block (AV Hall). 
The programme was organized with the objective of providing students with valuable insights into modern workplace culture and the qualities required for emerging leaders.
The resource person for the programme was Mr. R. Balaji, MCA., MBA (LM), an alumnus of the 2014–2016 batch, who is serving as Loss Prevention Manager, Vilcart Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore. His participation provided an opportunity for students to gain perspectives from an experienced professional and alumnus.
The programme commenced with the Welcome Address delivered by Dr. N. Karthikeyan, Head – CS, SAASC.  S. Jayabharathi, II M.Sc. Computer Science, introduced the Chief Guest.
The Special Address was delivered by Mr. R. Balaji. The session focused on the theme of bridging the gap between modern work culture and the expectations of upcoming leaders. The programme provided a platform for students to understand the importance of adapting to contemporary professional environments and developing leadership-oriented perspectives.
The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks delivered by T. Dineshkumar, Assistant Professor of Computer Science, SAASC. The event served as a valuable knowledge-sharing platform for students and encouraged them to develop an understanding of professional work culture and leadership in preparation for their future careers. The department thanks our Principal for permitting us to hold this program. 

The Dean of Basic Sciences guided us in organizing the function. We thank him for this.
