The Career Guidance and Placement Cell successfully organized a *Career Guidance Programme* for the *Second-Year Undergraduate Students (Arts & Science Streams)* on 29 July 2026 (Wednesday) from 12.30 p.m. to 2.00 p.m. at Sri Paduka Arangam (A/C Auditorium).
The programme commenced with the *inaugural address* by the Principal, *Dr. M. Pitchaimani*, who emphasized the importance of career planning, continuous skill development, and lifelong learning. He encouraged the students to make effective use of such guidance programmes to enhance their employability, professional competence, and confidence in achieving their career aspirations.
The session was delivered by *Mr. P. Srinivasan, Visiting Faculty – Training & Placement, a retired Senior Engineer* with extensive experience in quality systems, training, mentoring, and student development.
During his address, Mr. Srinivasan shared valuable insights on career planning, industry expectations, employability skills, professional ethics, communication, personality development, and workplace readiness. He motivated the students to identify their strengths, develop essential competencies, and prepare themselves to meet the evolving demands of the corporate world with confidence.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from the second-year undergraduate students of both Arts and Science streams. Students actively interacted with the resource person, clarified their career-related queries, and gained practical guidance for their future academic and professional growth.
