Udyog Utsav 2026



Under the able guidance of our respected Secretary and Correspondent, *Udyog Utsav 2026* , the flagship event of Project Puthri by Avtar Human Capital Trust Chennai, was successfully held today (25.07.2026) at our college. This prestigious programme, part of the MoU signed between our institution and Avtar Human Capital, was coordinated by the Department of Social Work.
The event saw the enthusiastic participation of nearly 600 girl students from various Government Schools in and around Tiruchirappalli.
Project Puthri is a unique initiative empowering adolescent girls from Government Schools through career guidance, mentorship, scholarships, and higher education awareness, helping them build confidence and prepare for successful careers.
The programme included the Project Puthri Pledge, scholarship awards to deserving Puthri Scholars, prize distribution for competitions organized by Avtar Human Capital Trust, scholar interaction sessions, and inspiring success stories shared by eminent professionals, offering valuable guidance, motivation, and career awareness.
Our respected Principal, Dr. M. Pitchaimani, delivered the keynote address, inspiring students and highlighting the importance of education, self-belief, continuous learning, and pursuing higher education to transform lives and build successful careers.
The School of Commerce and Management, School of Information Technology, School of Life Sciences and Basic Sciences, and School of Languages organized informative exhibition stalls showcasing academic programmes, career opportunities, and learning facilities at our institution. These stalls attracted enthusiastic participation and helped visiting students explore various educational and career pathways.

Adding vibrancy to the event, the Kalapradarshini Cultural Wing presented a captivating Folk Dance performance, beautifully reflecting our rich cultural heritage. The performance received high appreciation from organizers and the audience. In recognition, our cultural wing students were honored with Certificates of Appreciation and Mementos.

The school students enthusiastically visited all department stalls, inquiring about college facilities and higher studies, describing the experience as highly educational.

The Department of Social Work extends its heartfelt gratitude to our College Management for providing all the necessary facilities and infrastructure to host this prestigious programme successfully. We sincerely thank our Honorable Secretary, Advisor, Respected Principal, Senior Vice Principal, Vice Principals, Deans, HOD's Faculty Members, Kalapradarshini Cultural Wing Core Team Members, Transport Manager and Drivers , IMF Team, NSS Volunteers, Technical Support Team, and Non-Teaching Staff for their unwavering support, encouragement, dedication, and teamwork, which contributed immensely to the grand success of this event.

The successful organization of Udyog Utsav 2026 stands as a reflection of our institution's unwavering commitment to academic excellence, social responsibility, women's empowerment, and student development.
