Solid Waste Management

We would like to share with you all,
In response to the esteemed request of the Commissioner of Tiruchirappalli City Corporation and under the esteemed guidance of our Principal, the Programme Officers of the National Service Scheme (NSS) and the National Cadet Corps (NCC) organised a community service initiative.
Today, a collaborative effort was undertaken by the Tiruchirappalli City Corporation, Lions Club, Renova Green Organisation, NSS, and NCC of Srimad Andavan Arts and Science College (Autonomous) to conduct an awareness rally focused on Solid Waste Management.
The event commenced at Amma Mandapam, Srirangam, and culminated at the Srirangam Corporation Office. 
The rally was inaugurated under the leadership of Mr Anbalagan, Mayor of Tiruchirappalli City Corporation, and Mrs Radha, Councillor of Ward No. 7, Srirangam. 
The primary objective was to sensitise the public to the importance of proper waste disposal and sustainable waste management practices.
A total of 150 enthusiastic volunteers from NSS and NCC participated actively. In this initiative, demonstrating their commitment to community service and environmental stewardship.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the College Secretary and Correspondent, the Principal, Sr.Vice Principal, VPs, Deans, Heads of Departments, and all faculty members for their unwavering support and encouragement, which were instrumental in the successful execution of this program.
