Students from the Department of Physics, along with two staff members successfully participated in Nano Jatha - 2026 (Lecture Series, Roadshow and Exhibition), organized by the Department of Physics, Arignar Anna Government Arts College, Villupuram on 17.07.2026.

During the event, the students attended a prestigious address by *Dr. Geetha G. Nair from CeNS / IISc Bengaluru*.

They also actively participated in the Quiz Competition and explored various scientific demonstrations, gaining valuable insights into the field of nanotechnology. Also our students received Appreciation Shield and Certificates.

At this juncture we would like to thank our Secretary and correspondent, Principal, Sr Vice Principal, Vice principals, Dean - Basic sciences for this opportunity.

Effective Public Speaking – EPS 2025

The Junior Jaycees Wing of Srimad Andavan Arts and Science College (Autonomous), Tiruchirappalli) in association with JCI Rocktown organized a one-day training programme on “Effective Public Speaking – EPS 2025” The programme was inaugurated with a Presidential Address by Dr. M. Pitchaimani, Principal, SAASC, who emphasized the importance of communication skills for academic excellence and career development. The Chief Guest, JFM Er. N. Gajendran, Zone Vice President, JCI India Zone – 23, motivated the students by highlighting the role of public speaking in leadership and personal growth. The Guest of Honour, JCI Senator K.
