The Department of Microbiology is organising an Intra-Departmental Infographic Contest – *“Infographics Innovate”* in commemoration of *World Microbiome Day 2026.*

The competition is designed to encourage our department students to explore and utilize emerging Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools for *creating scientifically accurate and visually engaging infographics*. This initiative aims to enhance students’ digital competencies, promote innovative learning approaches, and develop their proficiency in AI-assisted content creation for academic and professional applications.

Effective Public Speaking – EPS 2025

The Junior Jaycees Wing of Srimad Andavan Arts and Science College (Autonomous), Tiruchirappalli) in association with JCI Rocktown organized a one-day training programme on “Effective Public Speaking – EPS 2025” The programme was inaugurated with a Presidential Address by Dr. M. Pitchaimani, Principal, SAASC, who emphasized the importance of communication skills for academic excellence and career development. The Chief Guest, JFM Er. N. Gajendran, Zone Vice President, JCI India Zone – 23, motivated the students by highlighting the role of public speaking in leadership and personal growth. The Guest of Honour, JCI Senator K.
