Greetings from the Internal Quality Assurance Cell!
Day II of the Student Induction Programme commenced with an insightful session on Health and Hygiene delivered by Dr. R. Vignesh, Orthopaedic & Spine Surgeon, Senior Assistant Surgeon, Government Hospital, Srirangam and Dr. K. Kokila, Medical Officer, Health Care Centre, SAASC. They sensitized the students on the importance of maintaining good health, following a balanced diet and ensuring adequate sleep for a healthy lifestyle.
The afternoon session was handled by Dr. V. Raman, Dean of Arts and Head, Department of Sanskrit, who provided an overview of Part I – Sanskrit and its significance. The session was followed by Dr. S. Lakshmi, Director – SASMA & Head – Sri Hayagreeva Pusthakalaya, who elaborated on the rules and regulations for effective utilization of library resources.
Mr. K. Rajagopalan, Head – Placement, provided valuable insights into career guidance, placement opportunities and career development prospects.
The students were also oriented on Examination Procedures, which was presented by Dr. G. Uma, Controller of Examinations, highlighting the important academic regulations and examination practices.
At this juncture, the IQAC team extends its sincere gratitude to our Secretary and Correspondent, Advisor, Principal, Senior Vice Principal, Vice-Principals, Controller of Examinations, Deans, Heads of Departments, Faculty Members, MQC Members, IMF, and the System Team for their continuous support, cooperation and valuable contributions towards the successful conduct of the Student Induction Programme.
