The Department of Chemistry in association with the P.C. Ray Chemistry Club, successfully organized a Knowledge Enrichment Programme on the topic:
“From Atoms to Applications: An Introduction to the World of Nanomaterials.”
The programme featured an insightful and informative lecture by the resource person, Dr. C. Manivannan, Assistant Professor, Division of Chemistry, School of Science, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Tiruchirappalli. He delivered an engaging session on the fundamentals, properties, and diverse applications of nanomaterials, effectively bridging theoretical concepts with real-world applications.
A total of 36 students from the Departments of Chemistry and Physics participated in the programme and greatly benefited from the session. The students were highly attentive, interactive, and responsive throughout the session.
On this occasion, we express our sincere gratitude to the Management, Secretary and Correspondent, Advisor, Principal, Senior Vice Principal, Vice Principals, Deans, Heads and faculty members for their constant support and encouragement in making this programme a success.
