*Greetings from Kalapradarshini Cultural Wing!*
We are delighted to share that the Kalapradarshini Cultural Wing proudly organized *“Kalavardhana 2026”, an Interdepartmental Cultural Meet, on 25th and 26th February the 2026* at our college premises.
The inaugural ceremony was held on *25th February 2026 at 9:30 a.m.,* under the vibrant theme “ *Celebrating the Growth, Grace, and Glory of Arts.”* The event aimed to nurture creativity, confidence, and cultural excellence among students. The programme commenced with a Prayer Song, followed by the traditional Lighting of the Kuthu Vilakku, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge and artistic spirit.
The inaugural function was graced by Dr. N. Nithya, Core Team Member, Department of Tamil, who delivered the Welcome Address.
Our respected Principal, Dr. M. Pitchaimani, rendered the Inaugural Address.
Felicitations were offered by Dr. G. Jothi, Senior Vice-Principal; Dr. S. Lakshmi, Dean of Arts; and Dr. Upendran, Vice-Principal.
The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Dr. S. Bhawiya Roopaa, Senior Assistant Professor, Department of Management and Cultural Coordinator, Kalapradarshini Cultural Wing.
*Event Highlights – Day 1 (25.02.2026)*
The first day witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across departments in various Literary, Theatricals,Fine arts, Music and dance competitions, including:
English & Tamil Oratorical,Essay & Poetry Writing
Rangoli, Face Painting,Poster Making
Solo Song,Instrumental, Dance
Mimicry,Mono Acting
The events were conducted at the Arts AV Hall, Healthcare Room, Main Block Portico, MCA AV Hall, and designated classrooms as per the schedule.

The second day focused on visual creativity and media-based competitions, including:
Photography
Short Film
Reels Making
The submissions were coordinated through the Vis Com Department, ensuring smooth organization and systematic evaluation.
Kalavardhana 2026 served as a vibrant platform for students to showcase their talents, express their creativity, and strengthen interdepartmental bonding.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Management, Honorable Secretary and Correspondent, Advisor, Principal, Senior Vice-Principal, Vice-Principals, Deans, HOD's,Faculty Members, Dept. Cultural Coordinators, Core Team Members,for their constant encouragement and support.
I extend my gratitude to all the IMF Supporting Team, Office Staff, Supporting Staff, and all others who worked behind the scenes for the success of this event.
