Inauguration of the PHYTO Club and a Knowledge Enrichment Programme on "Innovative Approaches in Plant Tissue Culture - Banana"



The Department of Botany  organized the inauguration of the PHYTO Club and a Knowledge Enrichment Programme on "Innovative Approaches in Plant Tissue Culture - Banana" for our UG and PG students at MCA AV Hall. The programme aimed to enlighten students on the latest developments in plant tissue culture and its practical applications, followed by the investiture ceremony of the club's office bearers.

We were privileged to have Dr. M.S. Saraswathi, Principal Scientist at ICAR-NARC, Tiruchirappalli, as our resource person, who delivered an inspiring address on current trends and importance of plant tissue culture.

I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to our Management, Secretary and Correspondent, Advisor, Principal, Sr. Vice Principal, and Dean of Life Sciences for their unwavering support and encouragement that made this event successful.
