Greetings from the Women Development Cell

The Women Development Cell of Srimad Andavan Arts and Science College (Autonomous), in association with the Inner Wheel Club of Trichy – Malaikottai, organised a Digital Social Awareness Programme – Debate to the total of 65 number of girl students as participants at MCA A. V. Hall today.

The programme was commenced in the august presence of our Mentor, Dr. K. Subha, Dean of Commerce and Management.The programme created awareness among students about the positive and negative impacts of digital social platforms and promoted responsible digital citizenship.

The debate was initiated and evaluated by the judge Dr. K. Sujatha, Associate Professor, Department of Tamil, along with her team members. The session was informative, interactive, thought-provoking and effectively sensitising students to the challenges and responsibilities associated with the use of digital social platforms, thereby contributing to their holistic development.

We extend our special thanks to Dr. G. Sundaramoorthy, Head, Department of Tamil, and Ms. N. Nithya, Assistant Professor, Department of Tamil, for their valuable support and guidance towards the program.

We also express our heartfelt gratitude to the Management, Secretary and Correspondent, Advisor, Principal, Senior Vice Principal, Vice Principals, Controller of Examinations, and Deans for their constant encouragement and support.

Effective Public Speaking – EPS 2025

The Junior Jaycees Wing of Srimad Andavan Arts and Science College (Autonomous), Tiruchirappalli) in association with JCI Rocktown organized a one-day training programme on “Effective Public Speaking – EPS 2025” The programme was inaugurated with a Presidential Address by Dr. M. Pitchaimani, Principal, SAASC, who emphasized the importance of communication skills for academic excellence and career development. The Chief Guest, JFM Er. N.
