We are pleased to inform you that today, the Road Safety Club of Srimad Andavan Arts and Science College, in collaboration with Honda Company Private Limited, successfully organized an Awareness Programme titled “Think Safety, Ride Safely: Awareness for Two-Wheeler Riders” under the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways’ National Road Safety Month (1st January to 31st January 2026) – Sadak Suraksha Jeevan Raksha.
The event was graced by:
• Chief Guest: Mr. G. Pandiyan, Inspector of Police, Srirangam Traffic Police Division
• Guests: Mr. Prabhu E. and Ms. Malathi G., K Safety Instructors (Honda), Children’s Traffic Park, Tiruchirappalli
A total of 59 students from our college benefited from this session.
The programme helped students to:
1. Develop awareness about road safety rules, traffic regulations, and responsible riding behavior.
2. Understand the importance of wearing helmets, maintaining vehicles, and adopting defensive riding practices.
3. Enhance their sense of responsibility towards personal safety and the safety of fellow road users.
At this juncture, we sincerely thank our Management, Secretary and Correspondent, Advisor, Principal, Senior Vice Principal, Vice Principals, Deans, Heads of Departments, and the Transport & Estate Manager for their constant encouragement and support in successfully organizing this programme.
