The second day of the Two-Day National Conference on Bharatiya Bhasha Pariwar


Good evening!
The second day of the Two-Day National Conference on Bharatiya Bhasha Pariwar was held on 30th January 2026 and focused on academic deliberations related to education, knowledge systems, and Indian linguistics. 
The day began with Plenary Session II on “Role of Bharatiya Bhasha Pariwar in Education and Knowledge System.”The plenary lecture was delivered by Dr. Perumal Samy ,Central Institute for Languages,Mysore and Dr. Mendam Bapuji, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, who shared insightful perspectives on the relevance of Indian languages in contemporary education. 
In the afternoon, paper presentations and discussions were conducted, providing a platform for scholars and researchers to present their academic contributions. The discussions were scholarly and interactive, enriching the academic value of the conference.

The Valedictory and Certificate Distribution Ceremony was held in the later part of the day. Dr. G. Jothi delivered the welcome address, followed by the presentation of the conference report by Dr. V. Balamurugan, M.S. University, Tirunelveli. The valedictory address was delivered by Dr. K. Pitchumani, Former Vice Chancellor, M.S. University, Tirunelveli, who emphasized the importance of Bharatiya knowledge traditions and linguistic unity. A special address was given by our revered Secretary & Correspondent Shri.CA.Venkatesh R. Dr.M.G.Sethuraman, Senior Professor,GRI, Dindugal graced the occasion. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. M. Selvam, Local Coordinator. Certificates were distributed to the participants, marking the successful conclusion of the conference.

We express our sincere gratitude to the management, the secretary & correspondent, the Principal,the Senior - Vice Principal, Vice - Principals, Deans, The Controller of Examinations, IQAC coordinator,  HoDs and Office staff for their unwavering guidance and support. We also thank our PRO, Transport manager,System Administration team, IMF team,and other non teaching staff for their support.
