Awareness Programme on “Cyber Security and Safe Financial Practices”

 

The Young Investors Club, in association with ICICI Foundation, successfully organized an Awareness Programme on “Cyber Security and Safe Financial Practices” on 21.01.2026 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for the non-teaching staff members.
The key session was handled by the Resource Person Dr. K. Devaraju, Certified SEBI Resource Person. The session was highly informative and focused on common cyber threats such as phishing, fake calls, OTP scams, online fraud, and safe usage of mobile phones, internet, social media, and digital payment platforms like UPI. The resource person also stressed the importance of protecting personal and banking information, using strong passwords, verifying online transactions, and reporting cybercrime incidents through proper channels.
