An Awareness Rally on Cervical Cancer

Today, an Awareness Rally on *Cervical Cancer* was successfully organized by the Rotary Club of Trichy Diamond City Elite in association with Rotaract Club of Srimad Andavan Arts and Science College (Autonomous), Trichy. The rally commenced from Thiruvanaikovil and proceeded to the College Campus.

The event was flagged off by *Rtn. J. Karthick, District Governor, RI District 3000,* and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, Vice Principals, the College PRO, and volunteers. The rally aimed to create public awareness about cervical cancer, its early detection, prevention, and the importance of regular screening.

Following the rally, an Awareness Session was conducted at the College AV Hall at 10:30 AM. Specialists from *Harshamithra Cancer and Multispeciality Hospital, including Dr. Govindaraj,* Trichy, served as resource persons and delivered an informative presentation on cervical cancer symptoms, vaccination, screening methods, and preventive care. Their expert insights helped students gain a deeper understanding of women’s health and cancer prevention.
At this juncture, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the Secretary, Principal, Vice Principals, Dean of Management, and all Faculty Members for their continuous support, encouragement, and guidance in making this programme both memorable and impactful.
