One-Day Workshop on Techniques of Molecular Biology in the Biotechnology Field aimed at introducing school students of Chinmaya Matriculation School

The Department of Biotechnology organized a One-Day Workshop on Techniques of Molecular Biology in the Biotechnology Field aimed at introducing school students of Chinmaya Matriculation School, Srirangam to the fundamental and applied aspects of molecular biology. The programme sought to enhance scientific curiosity, provide practical exposure, and inspire young learners to pursue careers in life sciences. Participants gained practical skills in core molecular biology techniques.
The session enhanced scientific awareness and curiosity among school students. Students received certificates from Dr. G. Jothi, Senior Vice Principal and Dr. R. Krishnan, Vice Principal for their participation as recognition of their involvement. The event fostered interest in biotechnology education and research. The Department of Biotechnology demonstrated its commitment to science education outreach, skill development, and promotion of biotechnology literacy at the school level.
The department extends sincere gratitude to our Secretary, Advisor, Principal, senior vice principal and vice principal for their continuous support and encouragement in all endeavours.
